Lesson & Boarding Rates
Serendipity Farms, LLC at Oakhaven Rate Sheet – Effective 10/1/2018
All board horses receive 2x daily feeding, 2x daily stall cleaning, daily turnout (weather permitting), daily hoof picking, winter blanketing and a natural fly prevention system. All boarders are allowed to use both arenas, both round pens and the trails. Specific amenities for each barn are listed below.
Main Barn: $1050/month. Includes use of the air-conditioned tack room, H/C water in the wash racks. Main Barn horses receive an hour in the exerciser each day in addition to their turnout and 2 one hour turns when weather does not permit turnout.
**Main Barn clients are required to participate in the lesson program and attend a minimum of 2 A Rated Horse Shows every 6 months or 4 per year. Boarders who have not met the minimum show requirement (2) at the end of each 6 month period will be charged a Show Fee of $2500.**
Creekside Barn: $860/month. Includes use of the tack room in the green barn and wash racks. Creekside Barn horses receive an hour in the exerciser in lieu of turnout on bad weather days.
**Creekside Barn clients are required to participate in the lesson program and attend a minimum of 1 A Rated Horse Show every 6 months or 2 per year or 4 Schooling Shows per year (SF Home Shows count towards the requirement). Boarders who have not met the minimum show requirements at the end of each 6 month period will be charged a Show Fee of $1250.**
Hillview Barn: $750/month. Includes use of the tack shed and wash racks. Hillview horses are turned out in the outdoor round pen in lieu of their paddocks on weather days.
Prorated Board (partial months)
Main Barn: $50/night or one month, whichever is less
Creekside Barn: $40/night or one month, whichever is less
Hillview Barn: $35/night or one month, whichever is less
**Board prices for all barns above reflect an expectation that every client will participate in the lesson program each month (full training is not required). For months in which less than 4 lessons or training rides are purchased, a $250 charge will be added to your invoice. A deposit is charged and held for all boarders, it is NOT last month’s board but is fully refundable only after your horse’s departure and your final invoice has been paid.**
Individual lesson rates for boarders:
$55/group (group lessons are not guaranteed to make and will be billed at the private rate if only 1 rider attends)
-these lessons and rides are billed at the end of the month
Training Package for boarders: $515/month in addition to board.
-Includes 12 services per MONTH – a maximum of 2 GROUP lessons and 1 training ride per week.
**Whenever possible we will attempt to supplement missed lessons with training rides but cannot guarantee it without advance notice. Refunds will not be given for missed lessons or training rides on the training package unless absences are scheduled well in advance. Boarders should use the online calendar to schedule lessons as the training ride schedule and staffing for it is built around the lesson schedule several weeks in advance and cannot be modified at the last minute.**
-Twice monthly lunging in the Pessoa rig
-“Pre-show” trim and clip (mane pull, ears, nose, bridle path) as needed.
-Training rides at horse shows for horses on the package are included in the 12/month allotment.
-Additionally, we are happy to administer any regular medications your horse may need, such as Adequan
The training package is billed at the beginning of the month. Riders on the training package are welcome to take additional lessons and receive additional training rides at the boarder rates above. All Private Lessons are billed at the Private Lesson rate and are not included in the training package (please note, group lessons are not guaranteed to make and will be billed at the private rate if only 1 rider attends)
Public Lesson Program:
$65/group (group lessons are not guaranteed to make and will be billed at the private rate if only 1 rider attends)
-Includes the use of a lesson horse and tack
Horse Show/Clinic Services/Grooming Services
All board horses are required to be maintained in a basic hunter/jumper fashion even when not showing, if grooming is not performed by the owner or already included in the training package, grooming will be performed and invoiced at SF’s discretion as necessary for the wellbeing of the horse and rider. For example, a horse may be body clipped in the winter even if it is not scheduled to show for its welfare during and post rides.

Additional Services are typically billed at $25/hour and available upon request or performed as needed, please discuss your individual needs with your trainer.
